LIBA Administrative Team meeting will be held TODAY, September 7, 2010 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Eden.
LIBA Annual Meeting will be held Sunday October 31, 2010 at First Baptist Church, Brady. Robert Barge and Jeff Gore will be leading the worship service.
"SEE YOU AT THE POLE" Will be September 22, 2010 at local schools, for students to meet at the flag pole and pray for their school, students, teachers and other needs.
LIBA Fellowship Breakfasts will resume in September! Brady will be September 13th, Coleman September 20th and Ballinger the 27th.
Coleman:
Mrs. Essie L. Whitfield-Beissel, 100 Years of age, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Holiday Hill Nursing Center in Coleman. Essie was born September 5, 1909 in Coleman to the late Bill Harrison Higgins and the late Evelyn Lightfoot Higgins. She spent all of her life in Coleman County, was a Housewife and a member of Central Baptist Church. Service will be Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 10:00 A. M. in the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Audie Sheppard and Rev. Jeff Moore officiating. Private interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.

Santa Anna:
Joe K. Jones, age 78 of Santa Anna, Texas passed away Saturday September 4, 2010 at a local nursing facility. Funeral Services will be 2PM Wednesday September 8, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church, 1100 Austin Ave in Waco Texas with Rev. Dr. Jimmie Johnson and Dr. David Mosser officiating. The family will receive visitors in the Parlor of First Presbyterian immediately following the service on Wednesday. There will be visitation at Henderson Funeral Home in Santa Anna, Texas from 4 to 6PM Thursday September 9, 2010. A private family burial will take place at Stewardson Cemetery in Coleman County Texas.
